HBO Max • Thrive With Pride • 2022

Rainbow as the result of light refracted through diamonds. LGBTQ+ voices are all unique and beautiful, like flowers, not one is alike and all gorgeous in their own way. I wanted to stay away from on-the-nose rainbow flags, and celebrate how diverse the community is, particularly highlighting queer voices historically sidelined even by the gay community.

It doesn’t always happen to work on incredible content, with an incredible team, on something so personal and meaningful. I had the privilege of pitching and art directing the overall look for this year HBO Max 360 campaign celebrating pride. Particularly proud to have worked on the motion design for the sizzle spot, which doesn’t feel like your typical corporate pride sizzle at all, thanks to the immense talent and heart Dumisa Moyo put in editing and producing this spot, with the additional help from Jazmine Corchado and Eric Stolze on copy. Special thanks to our Video Creative Director Josh Russell for the overall trust and stewardship along the way.

The design originally pitched was further extended to all Growth Marketing verticals, as well as shared with our partners and Multicultural marketing teams.
